Papa Luthor is Back! Smallville alum John Glover has signed on to come back for the last season of the hit CW drama. Glover, who plays Lionel Luthor, father of Superman's nemesis, Lex Luthor, will appear in at least two episodes in November, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Glover joins the list of former series regulars and guest stars returning for the final season of the Superman prequel. The returning stars include Laura Vandervoort (supergirl Kara-El), James Marsters (brainiac Milton Fine), John Schneider (Jonathan Kent), and Michael Shanks (Hawkman).
So far, there is no word on whether or not Michael Rosenbaum will return to reprise his role as Lex Luthor one last time. Rosenbaum has been missing from the series since Lex’s explosive exit in the season seven finale.
The tenth and final season of Smallville is set to premiere on the CW, Friday, September 24 at 8/7c.
